At last! A work-morning on the Nutbrook Trail on Wed 3 March. This is long overdue since the weather has not been particularly conducive to working in the open lately. The main job will be signing, as a number of signs have been removed by vandals and the litter situation is not too bad in most places.
We will start from the southern end (for the benefit of folk coming by train - like me!) Meet in the Asda cafeteria (they used to give free refills but that may no longer apply since some Derby rangers drank the place dry two years ago!) between 09:30 and 09:45, ready to start work at 10:00. My train arrives at LE station at 09:27, so I will be at Asda at about 09:40. We will work till 13:00.
Directions from station: take Tamworth Rd (B6540) away from the roundabout outside the station towards the town center. Continue along this road, which becomes Market Place, to the roundabout junction with the A6005 (Derby left, Nottingham right). Go straight on (2nd exit): Midland St. This runs up the side of Asda and the Nutbrook Trail starts in this road.
