Irish ride May 2011

It's almost two weeks ago now two of our group, together with other rangers from Derbyshire, started a ride across the north of Ireland. We had a great time, with beautiful scenery and wonderful people, despite almost consistently awful weather, covering over 560 km in 7 days. Pictures show: Maldwyn, Clyde and Ian outside a Belfast café; negotiating fallen trees on the Lagan Valley Trail (NCR9); the Giant's Causeway; two giants, Finn McCool and Fingal, argue over a rock; the Bushmills distillery; the (incomplete) Peace Bridge, Derry; an impromptu photostop on the Rosghuill peninsular; Errigal mountain, Co Donegal; Benbulben mountain, Sligo; bikes on Sligo-Dublin train; O'Connell Steet, Dublin.
