Maldwyn and Jeff managed to get to the southern end of the Nutbrook Trail on Wednesday. It showed all the signs of having been recently litter picked, and we added the final touch. There was some lopping to be done. Once we had finished the Sandiacre to Long Eaton section we retraced our tyre marks and set off north. Again the trail was fairly clean except for hotspots at Little Hallam and so-called Beauty Spot which is always horrendous the day after you've cleaned it up.
Distressingly, several sections of fencing had been damaged just south of Beauty Spot.
Another workday to be arranged for late October.

What mindless damage! Is the wooden NT post still intact? This used to be a favourite target a few years back.
