This is the blog of the Sustrans Volunteer Rangers group in the Erewash Valley and surrounding area of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. We look after the Nutbrook Trail (NCR67), NCR6 from Hucknall to Clipstone, the Ripley Greenway, Silverhill Trail and Teversal Trails, Blackwell Trail and Timberland Trail. We organize workdays, signing days and rides.

Work-morning in Notts Wed 26 Oct 2011
There will be a work-morning on NCR6 in Nottinghamshire on Wednesday 26 October. We will meet at the café and car park at the entrance to Vicar Water at 09:45 for a 10:00 start, and explore as much of our stretch of Route 6 between Hucknall station and the Dog and Duck, Clipstone, as we have time for. In principle, this will be a fact-finding mission, but I will bring some NCR6 signage and a few tools (litter-pickers, saws, loppers, secateurs). Bring similarly! My mobile number is 07855 804 451.
