On a cloudy but calm day, the old Erewash Valley stalwarts Stuart and Maldwyn (minus Jeff who was on holiday) were joined by Ian Keetley, Jan Hall a wildlife champion on the Nutbrook Trail and new volunteer ranger Richard Phillips. We did a litter pick and some trimming back of the vegetation on the stretch of the Nutbrook Trail between Thorpes Road and The Field at Shipley. We collected a fair bit of litter, at least five bags worth and Jan had a successful time spotting Fungi.
