Jeff and I met at Straws Bridge and then made our way south along the NT. The stretch along the side of Kirk Hallam College which had been reported as being badly littered was in fact remarkably free of litter. After I got back from the Workday I learned from Ian that that the College had indeed carried out a litterpick that morning.
We carried on with our litterpick all the way to Stanton Lock and, since we made good time because the litter was generally light, we retraced our steps back to the north of Straws Bridge and finished off a stretch of the Trail where we left off after the first Workday.
