Stuart and Jeff did 2.5 hours today, starting at Shipley Park and finishing at Crompton Road, Stanton. There was surprisingly little litter. Either the public are being more responsible or someone else is doing some tidying up. Either way it is a good sign.
Can I remind everyone that the Bennerley Viaduct project is making good progress. The Friends of Bennerley Viaduct are now a fully constituted group and you can show your support in numerous ways: workdays, offering your time and expertise in marketing, promotion, leading walks, giving talks, buying some FoBV merchandise, becoming a member (£5 annually) etc. More details below.
Sustrans is about to submit its bid for Development Funding, which is necessary to pay for legal matters, surveys, land ownership issues etc. before the main bid for the Delivery Stage goes in.
