Something which you are all probably aware of is the Sustrans annual get-together for rangers know as Festivol, held sometime in July each year. I have never attended it myself because I am always in France at that time but all those who have been to it over the last few years always say that the experience is excellent. Next year Festivol will be held at the Walesby Scout Camp in Nottinghamshire and it will be organized by rangers from the East Midlands. If you are interested, follow this link to the East Midlands Ranger Network blog.

There is to be a meeting on Sat 21 Jan 2012 to start the planning of the event so, if you want to be involved, please get in touch with Alan Hudson of the Newark Rangers
(alan.hudson@ntlworld.com). He needs to know who will be coming to this meeting by 13 Dec.
