The Erewash Valley Trail was officially launched today at the Attenborough Nature Reserve. After an excellent buffet lunch, presentations were given by the leaders of the partners of the project who later cut a ribbon to represent the opening of the trail. The picture shows some of the people who have worked hard over the last two years to make the Erewash Valley Trail become a reality. Steve Fisher of Broxtowe Borough (fourth from right) leads the partnership which also includes British Waterways, the NHS, the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Wildlife Trusts, Derbyshire CC, Notts CC and Erewash Borough.
